What We Test

The Inspection Process

  • Consumer Unit & Distribution Board

Condition of fuse board, circuit breakers, RCDs, and connections assessed and tested.

  • Wiring Condition & Insulation Resistance

Insulation tested on all circuits to identify deterioration or faults.

  • Earthing & Bonding

Continuity of protective conductors and bonding checked to regulations.

  • Sockets, Switches & Fittings

Visual inspection of all accessories for damage, overheating, or incorrect installation.

  • RCD Operation Testing

All RCDs tested for correct trip times — confirming protection works properly.

  • Earth Fault Loop Impedance

Measured on all circuits to verify protection devices will operate correctly.

  • Polarity Testing

Correct polarity confirmed throughout — incorrect polarity is a serious safety hazard.

  • Prospective Fault Current

Measured at origin to ensure distribution equipment is correctly rated.
