How often does a landlord need an EICR?
Every 5 years, or at the start of a new tenancy if the last report is more than 5 years old.
How quickly can I get a copy to my tenant?
We issue reports within 48 hours of inspection. You have 28 days to provide it to your tenant.
What if the report identifies faults?
You have 28 days to carry out C1 and C2 remedial works. We handle these ourselves and re-certify — all one contractor.
Do smoke alarms need to be mains-wired?
Regulations require working alarms at the start of each tenancy. We recommend and install mains-wired interconnected alarms.
